TextBox — Making Business Text-FriendlyMaking BusinessText-Friendly
How it works

Fast setup. Done right.

Landline and toll-free numbers can text — with full business-class tools, and no changes to your phone service. Getting set up includes a required carrier campaign registration step, so it's not instant — but it moves swiftly when you get us the needed information right away.

1

Tell us your number

Landline, VoIP, or toll-free — we check eligibility instantly and text-enable it. You keep your number exactly as is. Mobile numbers already text, so they don't qualify.

2

Verify ownership

We call you at the number and send a quick electronic Letter of Authorization confirming your business owns it. That's all it takes.

3

Campaign registration

We submit the required carrier campaign registry paperwork on your behalf. This step takes a bit of time, but moves swiftly as long as you provide the requested details promptly.

4

Start texting

Once approved, log in from any browser, computer, tablet, or phone and start the conversation.

No changes to your phone service

Same number. Separate networks.

The text and voice networks are 100% separate. Your voice service, provider, and equipment all keep working exactly as they do today. Your phone company and equipment provider don't even need to be involved.

No new phones. No new lines. No calls to your phone company. If you have an internet-connected device, you're ready.

What works

Business landline numbers, VoIP numbers, and toll-free numbers — for two-way SMS & MMS with your customers.

🚫

What doesn't

Mobile numbers (already text-enabled), and short-code traffic like bank or Google verification / 2FA codes. International texting is on the roadmap but not yet supported.

Can your number be text-enabled?

Most landline, VoIP, and toll-free numbers qualify. Find out in under a minute.
